QnA (Ask me Anything!)

Posted by TrueWG - November 29th, 2023

Ask me anything you're curious about. (But don't ask where I live obviously)

If it's life decisions or anything related to the outside part of the world, ask your search engine.

Have you ever heard the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise?

Unfortunately no. I never really dug deep into the Star Wars lore like one of my siblings have

(Sorry that this isn't a particular personal question, but I thought I'd leave those to your fans.)

I've noticed you're using Mastodon. What would you say was the biggest hurdle when you registered an account there and what was your best success story related to Mastodon?

(Not affiliated with them - just wanted to hear how it went for you. While I have recommended their service every now and then (based on the recommendations made by several professional creatives) I have never gotten an account for myself...)

(hope this isn't a long answer)

If you're asking what made me download it and register, honestly Twitter was stressing me out with all of it's changes (like paying $8 just to edit posts, and apparently the block feature getting removed) and I always come across politic-related posts on Twitter, whereas on Mastodon I can actually filter out posts based on specific words or content. I also got it hoping the userbase wasn't as raunchy as Twitter and some other platforms are.

But if you're asking about my experience downloading and registering, it didn't feel bad. I like how from the start I didn't come across anything regarding politics, hard news and controversies. and just like Twitter, Mastodon has an edit history for your edited posts but at least you don't have to pay just to edit them. Also like how posts with pictures are sorted like Instagram pages (at least on PC I think). I'm not sure what I'll use the platform for yet, other than possibly comics but if my page grows, it may become my Twitter/everyday post spot.

I sometimes prefer smaller/different apps and platforms, every time I'm asked to Google something I don't even go to Google, I go to Startpage or Brave. I'll only use Google for image searching because it's more precise depending on what you search.

you like jazz?

Well I don't know any songs using Jazz, but it doesn't sound bad when it plays in my family's car or when I go to holiday dinners and people have it playing in the room.

@TrueWG have u tried non pixel art

I've done a few test draws, still attempting it. Here's what I consider my best one.
